Held in my peaceful, ocean-view home in Nanaimo — where I also host my private counselling practice — this retreat is an intimate, welcoming space designed to feel cozy, safe, and restorative.

 

This is an all-inclusive retreat. You’ll enjoy:

 

  • Daily yoga, meditation, and nervous system-informed practices

  • A Saturday workshop focused on calming and regulating your nervous system

  • Beautifully catered meals

  • Time for rest, journaling, reflection, and slow, gentle mornings on an ocean front property

Retreat Experience

Come home to yourself at the Mom’s Renewal Retreat — a deeply restorative weekend held at my oceanview home in Nanaimo, BC. Nestled above the Salish Sea and surrounded by towering trees, this tranquil space is designed to hold you. Whether you’re floating in the heated saltwater pool, laughing with new friends over shared meals, curled up with tea by the fire, or journaling on the deck, every corner of this home offers a soft place to land.

 

We begin Friday at 5pm and end Sunday at 11am. I’ll be alongside you throughout the entire weekend — offering support, holding space, sharing in the experience, and gently guiding the flow of our time together. This retreat is about reconnection — with your body, your breath, your nervous system, and with a circle of other incredible moms who get it. It’s a space for deep rest, but also for joy, conversation, and real connection.

 

You’ll be gently guided through practices that soothe and replenish: grounding yoga, nourishing meals, slow mornings, evening meditations, and workshops exploring your nervous system. Mornings are gentle and spacious, with breakfast available whenever you’re ready, and optional walks or meditation. A slow flow yoga class and workshop follow. Afternoons are wide open — for naps, quiet time, a swim, or spontaneous connection. Walk to the beach (just 3 minutes away), lounge poolside, or simply practice being. Evenings wind down with cozy movement, bedtime meditation, connection and tea.

 

This retreat is thoughtfully paced so you can exhale — with space for laughter, silence, shared stories, and rest. You’ll leave not just restored, but with a sustainable plan to bring nervous system care into the smallest moments of your daily life.

 

Whether you stay overnight in one of the four welcoming rooms or join us as a local guest, you’ll be deeply held — in community, in care, and in the kind of rest that lingers long after you leave.

The most luxurious room in the house, this spacious master suite offers a calming ocean view, a private ensuite bathroom, and a king-sized bed with soft linens — perfect for deep rest and quiet reflection.

 

Choose to stay solo for the ultimate private retreat experience, or share the room (and cost) with a friend or another like-minded mom. Either way, you’ll enjoy full access to all retreat offerings, meals, yoga, meditation, and workshops.

 

Investment:

Cozy and thoughtfully designed, these two queen bedrooms are located side-by-side upstairs and share a full bathroom. With soft bedding, gentle lighting, and a peaceful atmosphere, these rooms are ideal for rest, reconnection, and quiet moments of reflection.

 

Book solo for more personal space or share with a friend (or another retreat guest) to make the experience more affordable and community-focused. You’ll enjoy full access to all retreat offerings, nourishing meals, yoga, meditation, and our workshops.

Tucked away on the lower level, this large and serene king room offers extra privacy and space to unwind. While it doesn’t have an ocean view or ensuite, it’s a peaceful, comfortable retreat — perfect for deep rest and quiet reflection between sessions.

 

Choose a solo stay for more space and privacy, or share with a friend (or fellow retreat guest) for a more budget-friendly option. Includes full access to all retreat experiences: yoga, meditation, nourishing meals, and the Saturday workshop.

Experience the full retreat from Friday at 5pm to Sunday at 11am — all meals, workshops, yoga, meditations, and access to the pool and property are included. This option is designed for local moms who prefer to sleep at home but want to immerse fully in the weekend. You’ll be held and nourished alongside the overnight guests, with space to rest, connect, and recharge — just with your own bed at night.

Where is the retreat located?

The retreat is held at my private oceanview home in Nanaimo, BC, just a short walk from the beach. The property features a heated saltwater pool, cozy indoor spaces, and a calm, natural setting to support deep rest.

 

Is this retreat only for moms?

Yes, this retreat is designed specifically for moms who are looking for nervous system support, deep rest, and reconnection. Whether your kids are toddlers or teens, this space is for you.

 

What’s included in the cost?

Your investment includes 2 nights accomodation, nourishing meals (two breakfasts, one lunch, two dinners), multiple yoga practices, nervous system workshop, optional meditations, and full access to the property and pool. Local guests participate in all the same offerings, minus overnight accommodations.

 

Can I come if I’m local and don’t need to stay overnight?

Yes! We offer a local guest option so you can return home to sleep and join us during the day for meals, yoga, and workshops.

 

What if I want a room to myself?

You can choose to reserve a room solo or share with a friend. Pricing varies based on the room, view, and whether it’s a private or shared space. All options are listed clearly in the accommodations section.

 

What is the daily schedule like?

Mornings are slow and spacious with optional walks or meditation, followed by yoga and our workshop. Afternoons are open for rest, journaling, connection, or lounging by the pool. Evenings include restorative movement, bedtime meditation, and plenty of opportunity for connection or quiet.

 

What if I’m not experienced in yoga or meditation?

You’re more than welcome. The practices are gentle and beginner-friendly. Everything is optional, and you’ll be guided with care.

 

How many participants will there be?

This retreat is intentionally intimate to allow for meaningful connection, quiet rest, and personalized support. There are 4-8 overnight spots available in the home, along with space for a few local mamas to join us during the day. This small group setting ensures you’ll feel seen, supported, and held throughout the weekend.

 

What should I bring?

After registering, you’ll receive a welcome email with a full packing list, but expect to bring comfortable clothes, a journal, and anything that supports your rest (like your favorite book or cozy sweater).

Can I use my benefits to cover this retreat?

Yes! Because I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), most extended health plans may cover the retreat cost under counselling services. As the retreat’s focus is on motherhood, there’s also a chance benefits can be used under your child’s name. Reach out directly and we can explore your options together — I’m happy to provide an invoice that aligns with your plan’s requirements.

Are payment plans available?

Yes! I want this retreat to feel accessible. You’re welcome to split your payment into two or three installments, depending on what works best for you. Just reach out and we’ll create a plan together that feels manageable and supportive.

Can I come if I don’t know anyone?

Absolutely. Many women attend solo, and the retreat is designed to be welcoming, inclusive, and low-pressure. You’ll have plenty of space to be alone and opportunities to connect when you’re ready.

Will alcohol be served?

No — we’re creating a fully alcohol-free environment to support deep rest, nervous system regulation, and authentic connection. This retreat is about truly nourishing yourself, and we find that a substance-free space offers the most grounding and clarity for that process.

Will I need to disconnect from my phone or technology during the retreat?

We encourage you to unplug as much as possible during the retreat to fully immerse yourself in the experience. While you’re welcome to keep your phone for emergencies or to check in with family, we invite you to step away from screens and allow your nervous system the rare gift of true presence. You’ll find that this digital pause can help deepen your rest and clarity.
